He’s Up! He scores! He tumbles! He, he, he, Crack! He breaks his leg coming down from a dunk as I watch him hit the floor. It gets more intense and eye

catching with each playback.On the fifth playback I finally realized that I had an serve interest in healing the broken in sports. I imagined my self seeing

that player as my client in my office letting him know what was going on in his body. Assuring him that he is going to be perfectly fine and ready to get

back on the court in no time. Letting him know that I will take care of him.That was at the age of 15 and here I am now closer then ever to the start of

pursuing my career. I try to look for every opportunity that is gonna get me there. I’ve had many ideas in what I wanted to be in life. When I came across

this one and researched it and found that it was exactly who I was and what i needed. The job that is made for me.

When i researched this career i found that it came with several pre-qualifactions. Such as having a record of intern in an hospital, College courses up to

4 to 5 years, and something they call a fellowship. To specialize as a sports medicine doctor, One must complete a fellowship, which typically last 1-2

years. These programs provide rotations in sub-specialties of sports medicine and related medical practices. Many fellowships place individuals in the

field to provide support during an athletic event. Fellows may be responsible for research projects or teaching medical students and residents. Sports

medicine is the decision I am making to build my career and live my life.
