Howard University, Clark Atlanta Uni, And Delaware State are the three institutions that I am

interested in. These three institutions are all Universities. But most importantly to me they are all

HBCU (Historically black colleges and universities). I think it would best suite me to pursue this

level of education because it is known that with an degree from an university comes a

presentation of better opportunity.

Howard University is located in Washington DC and was established in 1867. About 10,000

students attend at Howard University. Students such as Debbie Allen, Tarajii P Henson, Marlon

Waynes, and Lance Gross all in the acting industry. To be a student at Howard your tuition might

be as much as $32.155 for a full time undergraduate. For medical tuition is about $55,84.

vary depending on your program of study. What appeals to me about Howard is that allot of there

students after graduation have great careers. This makes me think if they all came from the

same school and all succeed in different work forces their learning roots must be terrific.


Clark Atlanta University another HBCU was founded in1869. Located in Atlanta Georgia.

Clark has an enrollment of 3,267 students, 27.6 male and 72.4 female. Students such as Dj.

Drama producer, Ralph Civil Rights publicist, and many more. Tuition for Clark is usually about

$18,911 for year of 2011. This college appeals to me because the majors they offer. Such as

school of business Education, and Social work.

Hampton University is also an HBCU it was founded on April 1st year 1868. Hampton is

located In Virginia. It’s tuition fees run for about 16,888.00 for the year of 2010-2011. The

room charges run at $4,354.00 and board at $4,016.00. The students are 91% African American,

27%, Asian, and 1.07 Hispanic. The alumni consist of Booker T Washington, Douglas Palmer Mayor,

Dorthy Major concert singer, and Dj Envy disc jockey. Hampton appeals to me because they take

great interest in their students learning development.

My favorite institution is Howard University. It is a great place to attend if you want to

succeed in telivision business. But also it is also good for if your not sure what you want to do they

have allot of different studies and will help you map out your road to success.
